As a young man I've love working with the differently-abled community
It takes a special person to work with special people. This community has heart and soul. I found a joy in finding ways to make them smile and feel good about themselves. So often this community seems to be underserved and forgotten, but they're not because HE has the wole world on his hands and God will never forget or underserve this community. He need special servants to be tools in His hand to support and make a difference in their lives.
Discovering a Miracle
While awaiting trial I landed a job at Lutheran Social Services Group Home. I took a chance and cut a kid's hair, he smiled after looking in the mirror at himself, parents wiped away tears.
I was thankful to be hired. Finally I found a job. It had been very difficult after being suspended from nursing school, losing my job at FedEx, Bank accounts frozen, Car and apartment confiscated all in one day.
But this twist of fate was a test of faith. There was a miracle in the making. Although I couldn't see it at the time, I didn't realize this was working for my good.
